Une abbatiale bénédictine fut fondée en 828 par le comte de Bourges Wilfred et son épouse Ode. Celle-ci détruite par les Normands puis par les Hongrois fut reconstruite à partir de 994 et consacrée en 1066

Eine Benediktinerabtei wurde 828 vom Grafen Wilfred von Bourges und seiner Frau Ode gegründet. Sie wurde von den Normannen und dann von den Ungarn zerstört und ab 994 wieder aufgebaut und 1066 geweiht

A Benedictine abbey was founded in 828 by the Count of Bourges Wilfred and his wife Ode. It was destroyed by the Normans then by the Hungarians and was rebuilt from 994 and consecrated in 1066
