Le monastère fut sécularisé en 1563 et donné aux princes de Anhalt-Köthen. Le bâtiment du cloître fut transformé de 1680 à 1690 en un château et résidence de veuvage 1563 wurde das Kloster aufgegeben und an die Fürsten von Anhalt-Köthen übergeben. Das Klausurgebäude wurde von 1680 bis 1690 zum Schloss und zum Witwensitz umgebaut The monastery was abandonned in 1563 and handed over to the princes of Anhalt-Köthen.
