Monastère Konradsburg (XIIe) 

 Le château mentionné en 1021 servait à l'origine de résidence aux seigneurs de Konradsburg. Ces seigneurs firent construire au 12ème siècle le château de Falkenstein dans lequel ils allèrent s'établir. Ils prirent alors le nom de seigneurs de Falkenstein. Le château délaissé devint un monastère bénédictin en 1130, puis chartreux en 1476. Le monastère fut pillé en 1525 lors de la révolte des paysans. Le Konradsburg servit ensuite de bâtiments d'habitation et de dépendances

 

Kloster Konradsburg (12.Jht)

Die Burg wurde um 1021 erwähnt und war ursprünglich der Stammsitz der Herren von Konradsburg. Diese Edelherren errichteten im 12.Jht die Burg Falkenstein, in die sie übersiedelten und sich seitdem "von Falkenstein" nannten. Um 1130 wurde die leere Burg in ein Benediktinerkloster umgewandelt. Ab 1476 folgten die Kartäusermönche. 1525 wurde das Kloster im Bauernkrieg geplündert. In den folgenden Jahrhunderten diente die Konradsburg als Wohn- und Wirtschaftsgebäude.

 

Former monastery Konradsburg (12th century) 

 The castle was built around 1021 and was originally the ancestral seat of the lords of Konradsburg. These lords built the castle Falkenstein in the 12th century into which they moved, took up residence and since then called themselves "von Falkenstein". Around 1130, the empty castle was converted into a Benedictine monastery. In 1476, they were succeeded by the Carthusian monks. In 1525, the monastery was plundered during the Peasants' War. In the following centuries, the Konradsburg served as residential and commercial buildings.
