Fondée entre 1034 et 1049 par Eudes de Déols l'église était jadis située dans l'enceinte d'un château fortifié qui servait de refuge à la population. Sa rotonde abritait la relique du Saint Sang et était l'objet d'un pélerinage très fréquenté

Die zwischen 1034 und 1049 von Eudes de Déols gegründete Kirche befand sich früher innerhalb der Mauern einer befestigten Burg, die der Bevölkerung als Zufluchtsort diente. Die Rotunde beherbergte das Relikt des Heiligen Blutes und war Ziel einer sehr beliebten Pilgerreise

Founded between 1034 and 1049 by Eudes de Déols, the church was located within the walls of a fortified castle which served as a refuge for the population. Its rotunda housed the relic of the Holy Blood and was object of a very popular pilgrimage
